When you sign up for Chat Cobalt, we collect the information you provide directly — your business name, a description of your business, and your contact email and phone number. When your chatbot or voice agent is live, we also process the conversations and lead details it captures on your behalf.

We automatically collect limited technical information (such as browser type and general usage data) when you use our website and dashboard, to help us keep the service reliable and secure.

The Chat Cobalt app for Android and iPhone lets business owners answer live chats and see their leads. You sign in with your existing Chat Cobalt account; the app does not create accounts. Your sign-in session is kept in your device's secure storage so you stay signed in.

If you allow notifications, the app registers a push token for your device. We use it only to alert you about your own business: new chats, visitor replies in chats you are answering, new leads, and billing reminders. Notifications may show a visitor's name and the start of their message. Signing out removes the token.

The app shows the conversations and lead details (such as name, email and phone number) that your chatbot has already captured for your business. It does not access your contacts, photos, location or microphone, and it contains no advertising or third-party tracking. Payments are not taken in the app.

To delete your account and its data, use Delete account in Account settings on chatcobalt.com, or email support@chatcobalt.com and we will delete it for you.

Our website uses a minimal set of cookies necessary for the site to function (such as remembering your session). If you accept on our cookie bar, we also use advertising cookies from Meta and Google to measure which of our ads bring visitors, signups and paying customers; refuse and none of them load. You can change your choice at any time. We also remember the address you first arrived on (for example the ad or post that brought you) and store it with your account, so we know which of our marketing works. We don't sell your data. We share information only with service providers who help us operate Chat Cobalt (such as hosting and infrastructure providers), and only to the extent necessary to provide the service.

We retain account and lead data for as long as your account is active, and take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us using the details below to make a request.

Chat Cobalt is intended for business use and is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
