Do I need a new phone number?
You need a number that isn’t already logged into the WhatsApp app on a phone — WhatsApp doesn’t allow one number in both places. Most businesses use a spare SIM. You can move your existing business number over instead, but it then comes off the phone app.
Is it my WhatsApp or yours?
Yours. It runs on your own WhatsApp Business account and your own Meta business account; we connect to it, we don’t own it. If you ever leave, the number and the account stay exactly as they are.
What does WhatsApp itself charge?
Meta bills you directly, never through us, and we never add anything on top. When a customer messages you first, every reply you send in the next 24 hours is free on Meta’s side — 72 hours if they came from a click-to-WhatsApp ad.
